Pretty darn good kit especially for the price point. Things to be aware instructions are fairly detailed but pictures are basically useless. The master cylinder came with prebent lines that are 180* backwards because they are for a left side mounting orientation where the master is a right side line input. Minor modifications needed to proportioning valve bracket to move to passenger side mounting stud. Had to make two new lines from valve to master. Not a big deal but something to be aware of.

    Good replacement tank

    Installed into 63 Impala wagon. I didn’t put it side by side to my old tank, but it fit well and was straightforward to install, sending unit was also really nice. Wouldn’t know it was a replacement part. Definitely recommend. Put about 50 miles on the car so far and no leaks so good to go.

    About time

    Owners of the 60 thru 64 Impala wagon have not been able to find a replacement fuel tank until NOW. After years of waiting, this tank provides a NEW tank to help deal with the NEWER fuel problems prevalent in our older collector cars. This is a perfect replacement part, great quality and fit. Added all new sender and updated the fuel delivery lines as well. Now we are ready for 25 more years of trouble free driving.

    stock gas cap won't fit

    Two small issues gas tank sits 1 " lower. You notice it when you open the lid on side. And also the stock vented cap is to small. Stant makes the correct one to fit another 10 bucks but I am glad for the tank mine driped.
