Distributor vacuum advance diaphragm on my '80 Datsun 510 was blown out so decided to get a replacement distributor. My car was in the shop so I brought this Cardone replacement to them. They ended up having to disassemble, deburr, and reassemble the whole unit. Not only was the item poorly treated in remanufacturing, but I'm told it was assembled with no attention to the inner workings of the distributor. If I were to put this on my car as it was, it would not have worked. If any alternatives to Cardone distributors exist for your car, I'd advise going with anything else.Distributor vacuum advance diaphragm on my '80 Datsun 510 was blown out so decided to get a replacement distributor.
