Item didn’t come with instructions so when installed it contacted the floor before reaching full throttle I had to add a spacer between the firewall adapter plate from the olriginal factory pedal. Also when bolted up using the existing holes the pedal had an angle which I didn’t care for. Because the pedal was not upright I had to drill another upper hole to make it more upright. Part should have just been plug & play with no necessary mods for it to work!

We designed these parts to reach wide open throttle right before they touch the floor. Sometimes it is necessary to add a shim between the bracket and the firewall because people will have varying thicknesses of padding, carpet, etc. We cant offer a different part for every carpet thickness. We also made these pedals to fit in the best orientation for all the different pedals from 01 to 05 trucks. Its also impossible to get an angle everyone "cares" for so we go for the best overall fit.

Bracket does NOT work on 84 Chevy C10 also has no access hole to tighten bracket to the floor of Truck. After tightening screws down with a wrench, the pedal press down hits the floor before you get wide open throttle. At this time, I have no carpet install yet but when the carpet is installed, it will be even worse. It’s not usable and my 84 C10 truck.

. The bracket works great for squarebody trucks and sometimes may need a small spacer or washer at the firewall on one bolt depending on how much jute, sound deadening, and carpet may be in the truck. Its just like any other panel or car part. It needs to be fitted and may need some adjusting to get the ideal fit for your specific application. To say that the part doesnt work is an absolute lie. We have sold over 500 of these brackets and never had any bad feedback on this bracket until now.
