Needed to modify bevel to be flush with surface
This is a good quality part, and honestly since it's not an official BMW part, I cannot compare it. However, I can tell you on my 2002 Z3 with my removing the antenna to have full access to the mounting hole, I found the bevel on this part to not fit correctly. Even with lubricant the way the bevel is designed it would not allow for the lip to snap into place. Like someone else mentioned in a review of this part, I had to modify the bevel to allow this part to be flush and secured in place. This is a good quality part, and honestly since it's not an official BMW part, I cannot compare it. Impossible to install
Tried many different ways including use of heat gun, microwave, soap you name it. This thing will not go in easy. Now I have a damaged fender from trying to properly seat this seal.
