Had problems. Communication took forever. I received a cracked screen, which was not visible until it was installed. I had to pay shipping to replace the broken one they sent me and shipping took 10 days. In the end of I got my Sync 2 nav unit upgraded to sync 3.4 with the latests updates. I had to make a couple changes using Forscan. In my 2013 Escape the steering column voice button did not work and the outside temperature did not display on the screen near the time, Forscan resolved both!!!

I am very happy with this upgrade. The back-up camera screen is way better. All my apps from my iPhone connect to the screen (plugged in) maps from my phone also read and send text message’s while driving. I love it and enjoy apple car play now.
Installation following the video on you tube taking my time about 20 minutes. All the tools came in the kit.
It’s plug and play. Enjoying it for over a week. No problems. With the VIN number the climate controls for the seats also works

Was hesitant to order due to the price, but this kit exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to upgrade to Sync 3 and breath new life (and capabilities) into their infotainment system!

I could not be any more pleased with this purchase! If you are on the fence about buying this to upgrade your sync to system to the newest sync3 system do not hesitate.
