Imported vehicles wow... Buy domestic
Probably one reason why you should buy domestic and stay away from some imports (VW, Audi) is "special factory fluids" that cost almost double or more than standard fluids. G12 (antifreeze for VW and Audi) isn't compatible with any other antifreeze found locally at your local parts store. While the fluids, and vehicle are top notch, buying the fluids for the vehicles can be very expensive versus convential fluids and domestic vehicles. G12 while not compatible with any other antifreeze works well with the vehicle as intended by the manufacturer. G12 found cheapest at about 30 dollars a gallon (vs 10-15 dollars a gallon for house brand or name brand antifreeze at your local parts place) plus another down factor is the fact that where I live (SW Kansas) there are no VW or Audi dealerships. ...
