NOS buy it while you can
if your like me and keep an old car running because they don't make'm better these days and you find out you can't start your car without a $0.50 (4 bit) part that nobody makes any longer. thank God for people that keep New Out of Stock useless junk around. I needed a breaker type fuse that was used on GM cars from around 1999 to 2005 now to me that's a car in it's prime! I could not find one in the whole state of Hawaii. Now AutoZone didn't even have it on its books couldn't fined the part. at least Napa could get one but had to come from Florida! $16.00 for the part and $35.00 for shipping. Outch! you could fit the part in a pack of gum and stick a $.70 stamp on it, The Post z a Office? what ever happened to the 5 cent airmail stamp! getting back on the subject.... So went to eBay found the breaker on line for $10.00 and $9.00 shipping (back to the USPS) so I bought it great find NOS still in factory wrapper yea! after the great find found another for $6.00 free shipping. anything under 10 bucks get it...... i'm collecting a dozen now before the NOS is depleted. when I die in the next 20 years i'll will my kids the leftovers, they will be rich. my car starts just fine tooling around town in my 2000 Buick LaSabre limited with 30K original miles. last of the big boats. I'm happy for the people who keep old parts around that i can buy to keep classics on the road..... happy motoring see you on my Sunday rides
