The OEM long bolt is a thinner M10-1.25 thread pitch, while the dampener has a a bigger welded nut with a M12x1.25 thread pitch. That said, it’s definitely not for 07-08 Honda Element. (It’s meant to use the same size like the bolt that holds the brackets to the differential.) You can see in the picture how the bolt is just a tad too thin for the welded nut. Other than that, the dampener is very well made, so I will keep it to remove the nut! Honda Element FWD to AWD conversion project. :)
