Overall great quality and lots of design ingenuity in these seat covers. They are described as being for Jeep TJs but there are compromises in getting them to fit: velcro straps aren't long enough to go over headrest or to fasten between seat and back; adjustment levers on the side for flipping seat forward are covered by straps. Storage options with multiple bags and packs is great.

While i believe this is a well made item, and such a great idea, it just doesnt fit my Jeep. I have tall back stock seats in my 04 tj, and no matter how i install them, i either run out of bottom material or one of the straps has to go over my seat back release. It needs to be longer in the middle. I have plans to modify an otherwise excellent product. I believe theyll fit short seats and yk seats very well as they are largely devoid of shape.

Bought my first set in 2009 - by 2010 they were falling apart, with minimal use. I put these in my '82 FSJ Cherokee, so they weren't exposed to the weather, or direct sunlight etc. The first 6 months the seat "seems" started pulling apart. Took it into a local shop for a repair. Next year the "molle" webbing on the backs, literately started to "ROT" off the seat! I don't know how to describe how the webbing just fell apart . The loops crumbled as if the material had been out in the exposed weather for 10 years or more - which wasn't the case. I would simply put in a finger to a loop to gain access for a bag attachment etc. and the loop simply disintegrated! I took them off in 2011 due to the poor condition of these seat covers at this point. The bags as of 2018 are still working great, which I find odd - since I have used them a lot! I took the "old smittybilt carcasses" into a local upholstery shop in 2018, and had them make a new set, out of better material. Cost about the same, and I know I will get at least 10 years out of these, vs barely 2. My recommendation would be to get a local shop to give you a quote to custom make you a set, like these seat covers before I would buy any more of Smittybilt "fabric" products ever again. Fits good and easy. Good and strong material. Looks good on my Jeep build. Gives that tactical military tribute that I was looking for

I have a 85 f250 with captins chairs. Witch are high back. Bucket seat with dual arm rest. Trying to find a off the shelf seat cover to fit is close to impossible. These are the best fit for what I found.
