I like to use this grease to assemble any metal to rubber parts including seals. Kinda expensive, but it works better than anything else.

Racetech fork grease
It works well, I have not done a long term evaluation on it yet. As far as value, I think the price is a bit high, but the container and all the handling are probably are the most of the paid price. I live in Las Vegas and the grease my fork valving person recommended to use ran out of my fork seals in 200+ miles at the summer temperatures, he said his grease worked well at 60-85 degree temperatures.It works well, I have not done a long term evaluation on it yet. As far as value, I think the price is a bit high, but the container and all the handling are probably are the most of the paid price. Ultra low stiction seal grease!!!!
Super slippery, reduces stiction on forks!!! I also use it on my 2-stroke crank seals. Great value, I have used others but this is by far the best low stiction grease on the market. I will no longer use any other substitutes!!!!
