Fob is great, but had to remove the blank keys roll pin and swap it out with the already cut key in other fob. The fold down piece that locks and then you press the button to pop it back would not stay down. The key portion assembly piece fit fine in new fob, but just would not stay down in lock position. You need a skinny center punch to remove the roll pin,(don’t lose roll pin) the key portion slides right out. 2011 GMC Terrain

    Good solution for my OEM flip-key

    Make no mistake: Switching the guts from the OEM fob case to a new one is not a piece of cake - it takes some finagling to get the OEM case apart and correctly getting the pieces into this replacement case. However, short of paying a Dealership or Locksmith $$ there is no better way than this. The case is high quality and I’m very happy with the results.

    Good thing I'm smarter than my tools I'm using

    The key size center hole and the lock on the swivel dont interchange when using the original key you have to modify the lock slots with razor knife to make the key lock closed and use new center with old key a pain
