Well built, excellent value, plenty of cranking power!
Was skeptical at first, but ordered this for my '02 5.7l Vortec that had a broken screw mount on the block for the other diagonal style starter bolt pattern. I lucked out and my block had a threaded hole for the straight style mount, so I installed this. Shimming is critical to a correct fit for these (Watch YouTube on correct installation) and I had to buy one more shim to get it perfect. Cranked it over and it whirred like a fine watch! Quiet, Plenty of power, well designed and mount built from a solid piece of billet aluminum.
