Used before motors torn down have lot less wear than any other oil ,I have even cut back on how much I mix all the hype about synthetic oils and they add castor oil beats really expensive pure synthetic . Ive used this oil at 44 to 1. And 50 to 1 on my 86 yz 250 s for over 30 years and have not had one issue. In fact the motor lasted for 16 years until i tore it down .only to check stuff , i discovered the engine was incredibly clean inside , but seen a piston skirt had a tiny fracture in it so i replaced that .but it wasnt nothing to do with oil.
