This may be the best for VW air-cooled engines
WITH OVER 50 YEARS OF WORKING ON VW AIR-COOLED ENGINES AND TRIED I ALL TYPES OF OIL. I'M NOW USING ONLY PENN GRAD WITH ITS HIGH ZINK CONTENT IN ALL MY ENGINES. THE MOTOR OILS SOLD TODAY ARE DESIGNED FOR NON-FLAT TAPPET CAM CARS AND CATALYTIC CONVERTERS. AN OLD VW MECHANIC TOLD ME TO SWITCH TO PENN GRAD FROM MOBLE ONE. WHEN I DI, ALL MY VALVE TRAIN NOISES WENT AWAY.
