This is a handy tool, glad to have it. The item that was delivered was the chrome style, I would have preferred the red one in the listing photo but it's not a big deal. The quality seems OK, but it's not in service yet so no comment on the durability can be made here. There is no release button for the retaining ball, but the pressure on it is not so much as to make removing an oily socket a chore, that could be a struggle but it seems like they got that right. It should hold a socket OK.
