You can choose if you want to use the side curtains or not.You can keep it turned on and the flickering back wall lights will stay on. Be aware that the Zoltar figure isn't 3-d. He is flat.. He is printed on a piece of plastic. The crystal ball and the entire back wall are real. It's really hard to spot that the Zoltar figure is flat. It's worth the price.

My wife is a huge Zoltar fan. Ordered this for her. The Zoltar himself is printed and not 3D, but still looks great. Lights light up. Love the fact that it sort of operates like the real Zoltar (same recording.) She loves it. Would definitely purchase again.
