The Shining by Stephen King is a great read. If you enjoyed the mini series then you will enjoy this book. It is very long and has a lot of back story to it. You learn more about each of the characters than you did in the movie which is helpful to really get to know them. The only thing I didn't care for was that you really didn't get into the ghostly scary stuff untill the finale chapters. It is kind of long winded but if you stick though it and read it all you will enjoy the story.
Book came w first 100 pages folded back and the cover is also folded. I got what I paid for tho.
