Being a new rider and passing the MSI course, I was still having alot of trouble in curves ect. I decided to get this book after reading some of the reviews of it at Amazon. So many of the peices fell into place from just one reading that it was worth $100's of dollars to me, lot of good pointers and tips for riding saftly and understanding the bike. I am a 55 year old first time bike owner, and was really struggleing, the book is clearly written in a way that makes since, anyone new to motorcycleing and also any self-taught riders would do themselfs a favor buying and reading this book. A+
This book is excellent for any stage of riding you are in. For the beginner it will bring awareness; for a seasoned rider it will remind you of things you may be taking for advantage or maybe forgot. Bikes may change but riding skills don't. One of the best that is timeless.

Hi quality book feels good in the hands. Difficult to read while actually RIDING a morcycle, though. Lots of good info. Could make better use of paragraph bullets or LISTS. Discussion interesting, good writing, but gotta go back and sort of make your own notes. No doubt a few life savers in there, for me, for example, taking a wider line into a corner so as to not overshoot the center line. Full of good stuff, I doubt there is a better book out there, but everything could be improved. Mike
Well written in an easy to read format and lots of visual pictures to illustrate the topics.
