It's a great racing game overall and features noticable improvements over the previous GT releases, but the problem I couldn't get over is the fact that this game is gutted in content in comparison to the previous games. A smaller car amount and a crazy small track choice make this ge a disappointing buy at first release, especially for long-time GT fans. Although, the developers promised free new DLC in the game and it's looking great so far. More cars, tracks, and a career mode was addee to the game since release so if you're hesitant about buying this, don't be. There are still tons of future updates to come as well so this game will stay relevant for a long time. I have to say that it was a surprisingly good call from Polyphony. Buy it.

good if you like ro play live online. but i like to play alone. there are only 3 endurane races. there arent enough series races anymore. where are the f1 cars? i like the race tracks. they need to be added to the tradtitionalrace tracks. we need to add the prize cars back to the series races. i still like gt3 and4 the most i guess.

Awesome sauce brahski, game came super quick, one of the best racing experiences on PS4. Highly recommend this super amazing, photo realistic super addicting, master piece. The scapes mode is so much fun to mess with it’s like photo shop for cars basically with actual photo from around the world, incredible. Not to mention all the online content you get straight out the gate that 1 mil you get for the special edition is nice, I bought a Lemans version of a McClaren with a Bmw engine. A true beast of a machine.

I have played GT3, GT4, GT5 (GT6 causes PS3 resets) and now (PS4) GT Sport and this is the 1st, the very 1st that I can get GOLD in all the tests in Licenses, Missions and other races (with maybe 2 exceptions). But I can not get my T80 wheel to stop causing crashes (I have researched all options for it), I cannot get my PS3 Logitech wireless wheel to work so I have to use the controller while I "contemplate" wheel options. The T80 works fine on the PS4 and other race games, but not in GT Sport even though is is registered in the game...it will drift into walls while racing for no reason that I can find and that is very irritating! After racing 8 of 10 laps, finally getting the lead and WHAMMO the car runs into the wall after the wheel working great for the previous 7 laps. It has crossed my mind that the GAME does this, but I can easily win the same race with hand controller....STRANGE.Read full review

Even though there are better racing simulators with many more cars, tracks, and better physics, GT Sport is in VR! Its very well done. I don't particularly care for the license exams and tests that characterize the GT series. Personally, I think Polyphony Digital should remove that concept out of any future iteration of the game and concentrate more on offering different and more interesting tracks and locations and more cars (a la Driveclub). Having said that, the game looks and plays very well in VR. Yes, a few things can be improved like the engine sounds for example, and the vague physics in the off-road portions of the game, but overall, the game is worthy of being bought and enjoyed.
