I bought this DVD because my favorite Irish entertainer Jim McCann was once part of the Dubliners and is featured prominently in the program. It is a wonderful DVD for anyone who is interested in Irish music. The Dubliners have been the quintessential Irish Music group for 40 years. All of the best songs are part of this program and it is amazing how good all of the members of the group are 40 years later. You can only imagine what it must have been like to see them in their heyday. One of the things I most lked is that it is just them and their instruments on an empty stage making great music without gimmicks. The other thing that is so great is to see the audience having such a good time. Wish I had been there. Sadly, Jim McCann has throat cancer and no longer sings. It is so wonderful to have his performances on a DVD. I had the good fortune of seeing him perform live when I lived in Dublin and he was truly wonderful. If you are a fan of the Dubliners, then this is a must have. I would think it is the last opportunity to see the surviving members playing together, including the great Jim McCann (GRHS) and the legendary Ronnie Drew. Picture quality is superb, and sound is pretty good. Interviews are a bonus. All in all, an excellent live performance DVD. There are clips on youtube ripped off the DVD if a preview is required, but DVD quality beats those hands down. My favorite DVD at the present time.
Absolutely no cons. Fantastic group, what a shame none of them are alive today. The Irish songs and their beautiful voices will last forever.

If you like the Dubliners on CD, you will love them on DVD. It would be great to have been there when they were on stage,but with this DVD you can go back to 2005 many, many times and enjoy them again. Find out when you know a fisherman is telling the truth!
