This is a very good compilation of routines. However, the one thing I'm disappointed in is that the moves and stretches are very advanced, as if we can all just pull our legs straight out to our ears! These videos do not show modified versions and they don't remind you to stop at a comfortable level. Suzanne Deason is usually much better at giving ques and proper guidance so these Yoga for "beginners" videos are a bit of a disappointment. I'm not conditioned to yoga so these cause more stress than relaxation for me. Which defeats the purpose. Rodney Yee is also very advanced and takes for granted that we are all already conditioned to the movements. If you are conditioned to the movements then this is a great video to buy. But I'm not sure I'd fully recommend it to anyone who doesn't know what they're doing. The ques and guidance just aren't there and an extreme beginner could easily hurt his or herself.Read full review
This DVD is good for strengthening the whole body. It is a bit hard for a person very new to yoga, but for someone who has done it before, it's a good change up. It has 3 separate sessions...lower body, abs, and upper body. Props are used in some of the exercises, but there is a section that teaches the user how to use props. All in all, a good intermediate level DVD.
Good stuff
