The building instructions are somewhat difficult to decifer. I did build the desk easily enough with these instructions though. The desk looks good and will be very functional. I did know that there was a little space for the printer to fit on top and it is true. I will be glad for the space beneath the desk for that. The service was incredible over all and I received my desk sooner than I expected which was the best part. I would recommend its purchase to everyone. Form and function. Ok price.

To start off, Costway is in no way to blame for the difficulties I encountered while assembling this desk, that responsibility lies with the manufacturer. Costway only sells this. This desk has assembly instructions that are atrocious and illegible. Several predrilled holes are misaligned. The keyboard tray had no holes to mount to the rails. The metal bends easily. The provided hardware is not very sufficient. There is no tool list. Upon opening the box, which is plain brown with the product identification, you'll find a single page-multi pane set of instructions that are somewhat confusing. None of the parts are labeled like they are on the sheet. You find yourself winging most, if not all, of the assembly. You have to make some makeshift bolts that fit quite ill in the plastic inlaid nuts. Nothing is flush, as some of the fitment is askew. What should take maybe a half hour (at most) to put together, took me almost two hours. I put together a much more complicated desk from IKEA in much less time than this. In the end, this is very much a budget desk that may fit some people's needs. I just ask that you do some comparative shopping before deciding on this.Read full review

I purchased this desk and I feel I need to warn others of its construction. The wood shelves are good as they are covered on all sides with a plastic veneer. Very good against a sweating cold glass of water. The part of this desk I am warming you about is the paper thin box tubing. I built steel products all the time steel us cheap! There is no reason they used .025 thick steel. At minimum it should have been 16 gage. The casters screw into sheet metal nuts which distort and bend. They need to make this desk stronger before anyone else bus one!!! Do not buy one, you will not be happy. Sorry for my opinion but it is the truth.

This fit beautifully in a corner of my sewing room. It was reasonably simple to put together. Only one piece wasn't well described, but I got it figured out. I'm ot using it for its actual purpose. I have the printer on the table and a small tv on the top, but it is quite sturdy. This could fit in a closet to make a hideaway office.

Well, I didn't expect this to be near-quality to my existing computer desk, which I paid way over $100, which is the same style. Like the title said, you get what you paid for. But it fits to what I currently need, for my daughter. Eventually, I'll replace it when she gets a little older. If you're looking for something sturdy and will last long and maybe will not cut you with the keyboard slider, then skip this one. But if you just wanting a temporary one get this one. I would recommend this for the price I'm paying.
