At first I was reluctant about this purchase because it is missing some main tools such as wrenches (no 14mm or large sae) I bought a of werches along with pliers and a few other tool to make a basic machanic'so set out of it. Now I can actually work on a car with it. Love the lifetime warranty also. Almost got craftsman set but glad I didn't. This set will serve me well doing light work on the car and around the house.

Missing tools. Broken and shoddy plastic molded toolbox. Returned to an actual store for replacement. Lowes still wanted me to pay 30$ for the exchange. Refused that nonsense and the CSR was kind enough to work out a straight exchange. New box was ok, correct tools were there. Leads me to believe these are factory defectives being sold at a discounted price.

Kobalt is one of the best tools I have used in 40 yeArs as a mechanic . These tool sets are a great value for the money . Although these are not perfect sets you can find cosmetic flaws . These flaws do not effect the quality of the tool . I have never broke a kobalt socket even when miss using it I do end up loosing sockets an these sets are a great way to refill your missing pieces . They are also a great do it yourself tool or a mechanic just starting out . anyone will love these .

I'm actually quite pleases with this set. I have a few kobalt wrench sets but this kit is a one stop shop!! I frequent lowes since thats what we have left in this small area but working part time as an auto mechanic its a no brainer for on the go situations. Def getting more of this brand!
