It does exactly what the item description indicates - bright white light for running (in the "parking light switch position), which switches off for amber turn signal, then back on for running. The amber flashes on-off-on-off, then switches back to white. The white is VERY bright - I now use them as dusk lights or with my wipers, or for city night driving - without switching on my headlamps.Very pleased with this bulb. This is my second pair of switchback led from jdm astar I wouldn't buy from no one else cause even though they seem cheap they don't function as correctly as jdm astar does.
