This valve replaced one five years old that was leaking to waste; it is well made and easy to install. As the instructions say, be sure to use four turns of Teflon tape on the threads of the hoses that screw into the valve in order to make a waterproof seal. I put it in several weeks ago and it's working perfectly.

I was very pleased when I opened the box and found a new assy which not only was priced down below my pool supply house, but it was new. I am so pleased with this product. Thank you very much.

Don't over think the instructions! Disconnect the old collar clamp, keep it. Insert the new valve stem slowly to make sure you minimize stirring the sand. Clamp it back together and screw in the pressure gauge. Wish I replaced old valve last season. works like a champ

Well I’m happy with the product, works great and I could not have gotten it at a better time, the old valve still works but was getting hard to operate, one problem, the new valve gage doesn't work all that well. The face of the gage where you read the pressure is all mess-up, and the needle sticks.
