I bought this as a center to match my Yamaha fronts. It does match well, and I like that it isn't huge and can sit in front of my tv without blocking the screen. Downsides as has been mentioned the grill is not removable if that is a concern for you. It's a bit quieter than my fronts so I have adjusted the center speaker volume to max. Doing this. It blends in nicely, but if you don't have that sort of adjustment on your amp you may want to avoid this. It's also a center and only that. Don't expect to use this as anything but a center, it doesn't have the range of even a cheap set of bookshelf speakers. This isn't a bookshelf or surround speaker disguised as a center channel.

We have three different sound systems in our home, one in the main house, one in the garage and one in the work shed, and each system has a Yamaha NS-C210 as a center speaker. Each system uses a 5 channel 2500 watt amp and these speakers work perfectly in the center position.

I upgraded from a smaller center channel speaker that was thin and weak. This speaker is tuned to compliment the sonic range of the human voice and works well in this regard. It's still a small speaker made for a small to medium listening space (I have a smallish living room) but I am impressed with the natural voice and presentation.

I did not expect too much but I am really surprised how good that speaker sounds, had to dial it down as it was to dominant. Would buy it again.
