After a long day at work, I look forward to a movie that doesn't have me on the edge of my seat in fear, or blood splattered across the screen or crying thru the whole thing. I want to be entertained in an enjoyable manner and this movie fulfills that need. It's what you expect from BBC. This series has humor, some sadness and true to life everyday experiences. Human nature with the complications of small town and protocol of the 1800's. A movie that can be enjoyed over and over.
