Now you can charge your cell phone, power other 12v accessories etc using your batteries already in your tool bag! I use mine to power my homemade “Ozonix“ scent eliminator when hunting. The batteries last just as long as other expensive power packs and I already had a few in my tool bag. The test lights on the side are also a bonus!!

Being an older m12 gear adaptor/USB source, you might think it's better to get the newer style. sure the new ones ALSO charge your m12 batteries which is wonderful, but the new type has a serious flaw. IF you decide to use this as a 12v source. (spotlight, radar dector, etc... by means of the 5.5mm DC plug) the OLDER style will auto reset if you pull too much power from the DC 5.5mm plug. (anything over 2.3 amps trips the internal protection) on the newer type, if you try to use it as a DC source, it toasts and internal fuse, which is a nightmare to replace) yes you will miss out on the m12 charger feature, but to me, I enjoy having a product that auto resets. a good example, IF your heated gear shorts out, the newer type will also fail. But... if you have this older style, it will still work on your next heated gear, as opposed to being dead forever (points finger at newer style)Read full review

Handy little item to add to add to your Milwaukee tool arsenal. Charges a phone just as fast as conventional fast charger. And extremely durable. Accidentally fell out of my cooler with a battery attached into 8" of wet snow, and didn't find it til the next day and it still works like a champ. Let's see a Dewalt or Makita do that
