This is a great sprayer. I especially like the fact that you can turn and dial in the preferred spray type. Some of the other models (same company - as sold at Home Depot) are $9 cheaper but you get the other nozzles in a plastic bag. Now how do you keep track of them! And they are inferior. I now own three of these sprayers! Don't get fooled by the ones they sell at Lowe's and Home Depot. Home Depot did sell these sprayers at the low cost and they stopped carrying them. I think they made as pricing error and quit selling them to somehow rectify their mistake! I did buy one of the cheaper models and already, two months later, they pump up no longer works.

I kept wondering why I had to keep pumping this thing every spray. I put it together properly. Took it apart. Put it together. It keeps hissing at me. The gasket is broken! I literally was using it for the first time to clean above my kitchen cabinet. Warm water and some mister clean. Nothing caustic. As light duty as you can get. Out of the box, the rubber is disintegrating. It’s worthless. If it wasn’t old and useless I’d say it’s a good sprayer. Nice design. Nice hose. A strap would be good or a handle somehow. Carrying it around by the pump breaks it. But what does it matter. Mine is garbage.

Bayer brush killer has lived up to what it is supposed to do. All of the vegetation around the perimeter of my yard is dying and that is saying a lot. It does take longer for the vegetation to die than what it stated on the label but as long as it is working that is all I care about.

I have been looking (for years) for a sprayer that releases pressure from the bottom of the screw-on top. Virtually every other one or two gallon sprayer is designed so that when you are finished spraying, and turn the pump handle to release the remaining pressure, the air is released from around the top of the sprayer, specifically from around the circumference of the pump shaft. In other words, the fumes, and sometimes a trace amount of the mixture is released and deposited onto the hands, gloves, or even the face of the user. This one solves that problem by directing the remaining air pressure downward, away from the user. Secondly, this unit is far more stable than other similar sprayers. Notice how the sides are straight up and down, instead of tapered towards the bottom. This keeps the center of gravity lower, hence makes for a less 'tipsy' sprayer. It seems this sprayer was designed by someone (or a team) who has actually used a sprayer before, and lives in the real world. 2 thumbs up.Read full review
