While the lights do work, they do not work for very long...just over 2 hours. The initial charging wad over 48 hours, with the lights off. The lights lasted only 2 hours 15 minutes. Subsequent day night cycles were even shorter...about 2 hours plus or minus 5 minutes. Definitely not even close to the 8+ hours advertised. I cannot recommend these.
