Assembly manual is very vague. Installation states assemble as per picture, yet pictures are so poor you can't see a thing. You will need at least two people to help Ibeam is extremely heavy. Hydraulic oil tank is hard to fill because my oil was cold and it kept backing up making quite a mess. As for operation, engine started up right away and ran smoothly during my 1 1/2 hour splitting. Now for the real meat and potatoes, it's a beast. It had no problem splitting oak like butter. I removed the side cutting wedges because I like to have more control over size of split. However you my love the 4 way split. The piston which controls the wedge runs smooth and returns fast. As of now I recommend this machine. Only problem is assembly instructions which are very hard to understand, pictures are smudged which makes viewing hard. I was not able to find the assembly manual on line which would have made assembly much easier.Read full review

Had a lot of force for the first couple weeks of use, almost everyday then noticed it struggled a little more each day, but after reading on how to adjust the relief valve it's back to normal, Good buy for the money. Would recommend.

Although the directions are a bit tough to follow its pretty self explanatory on how this product goes together. Started right up on the first pull once fluids were filled. Excellent deal.
