if you are fortunate enough to know of this group and have some of their music then you should add this to it. i don't understand why this group didn't go big time. not many people know who they are. i didn't hear or know about them until i moved out to oregon in 1983. funny because their from georgia and i haved lived in maryland most of my life. i moved out there to be in a band with my brother and we did "what's he got" and "the end", both off of the first album(a must have). this is one of the most overlooked bands ever. "shiela" off their second album "you make the heat" is a pure gem of a song,i love it and can listen to it over and over. can't say that about too many songs. great music from a better time as far as i'm concerned.
Not a particularly common CD, The Producers last effort is a true masterpiece. The 80's spawned many bands in the New Wave genre, but The Producers' works deserve honorable mention from their first self-titled effort to this, their swan song. Worth a listen, whether you are a rock and roll lover or a New Wave or even punk listener. I saw them at the beginning and saw one of their last shows at the Cotton Club in Atlanta when they were promoting this album and I am delighted with it. Hopefully it will bring back some great memories, too! Enjoy!
Great CD!! This band was so under rated and should have done more. This album is a little different from there first 2, more lavish productions alomost reminds me of the tubes or toto yet you still know its the producers. I highly recommend this CD.. its the only CD of theres in print anyways..
Because eBay made me. LOL
