Classic 70's at it's finest! A must-have for any collection!!
I recently purchased this incredible album so I could slide back into time! It was 1977, & I was a senior in high school. This album holds that snippet of time, like no other piece of music. Bob Welch, successfully captured some of the "Disco" generation, but at the same time rocked your world. The guitar work, & bass lines are second to none, for that generation!! Granted it's one album, & some of his bandmates(Fleetwood Mac) went on to storm the world, but Mr. Bob Welch set the table! Christine McVie, Lindsay Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie.....they all learned how to be great musicians because of this man! Get this album, & before anything else.....turn the volume up! We Both Can't Be Wrong, I Must Be Right
That's my favorite line in a catchy little tune that I had missed in my music collection these many years gone since I first had the lp back in the 80's. Bob Welch is an original and while the cd is not the most technically advanced or amazing, it certainly passes by the ears pleasantly. Christie McVie of Fleetwood Mac makes an appearance on a track. It is definitely worth having in the collection. Ebony Eyes was a staple on the radio back in those days and you'll enjoy listening to it again since you'll never catch it again on the air.That's my favorite line in a catchy little tune that I had missed in my music collection these many years gone since I first had the lp back in the 80's. Classic Bob Welch
If you were around in the music scene when this album came out you will know why it is called a classic. The artistic value in this album is outstanding. Listen to the guitar work and arrangements and the way the songs were put together and you find that this is a art that is left out and most of the time missing from most modern music. No computer put this album together it was done with skill and artistic abilities and Bob Welch is amoung one of the best. Some of the best songs in many years is on this disc and if it has been a while since you heard it take a drive and crank it up and see if you don't agree it is a classic.If you were around in the music scene when this album came out you will know why it is called a classic.
