The Seven Albatross CD 'Kill To Ruth' was the demo released by Sylvan Albertus in 2006. Despite it's raw production, it served as a great example of what later Sylvan Albertus LPs would grow from. It has since been described as many different styles (most of which had been concocted on the spot) and in many different ways, but this album left an indelible mark on whomever happened upon it. This is a must-have for fans of the musician and lovers of experimental music alike. Shifting from ambience to rock riffery- electronic-heavy to western tremolo, 'Kill To Ruth' challenges the boundaries of your own familiarity as well as consoles like an old favorite. Regardless of whether this is your first experience with the musician or an exploratory leap backward for a long-time fan, enjoy this glimpse into the pre-LP world of Sylvan Albertus that has since become a rarity (out of print).
