Animal Bag created a runway for so many Charlotte, NC artist to take off on. They filled night clubs by the thousands, not just hundreds. Like so many others, they did not have the representation to take them around the world. Loss for them? No, not really because they rocked clubs from the East coast to the West coast. The loss is for the ones who never play an Animal Bag song or read this review. The music is wide-ranged from hard hitting rock to smooth flowing acoustic grooves. You have to listen to understand how much talent is recorded here. There are very few artist who produce recordings that you can allow to flow from beginning to end without skipping a track or two, this is one of them. Put it in, sit back and enjoy the ride. You need to grab yourself a copy of their work as two of the members of this band have passed on, way too early, and it is becoming harder and harder to find their work. Do yourself a favor, buy yourself an hour of happiness that will last a lifetime!Read full review
fairly good band--discovered them in the 90s--liked a couple songs--a good portion of the album sounds lie a bar band version of Alice in Chains--like the uptempo stuff much better--was originally attracted to the name

This is the bands debut, and only major release. They come from the Shelby, North Carolina area and actually had a guest appearance on the first episode of the show "My So-Called Life". Lyrics based progressive rock is the hallmark of this fine cd it's just too bad that this band didn't continue on.
