86 are unbelievable. very hard, driving, punkish rock in the style of RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE. But, much much better in my opinion. 86, have an edge that far exceeds most of the "new rock" I hear these days. Again, there are similarities with RAGE, STAVESACRE, PILLAR and even some hints of TOOL, but 86 have a sort of an "apacolyptic-hardcore" feel..I often hear influences of NEUROSIS as well. But, what ever your pleasure, 86 are sure to please the HARD-MUSIC fan, no matter your tastes. The music is passionate, sincere, mind-numbing heavy at times, with tons of great hooks, odd time signatures, and plenty of aggression. The vocals are as hypnotic as they are rageful...and, whats more, I havent yet heard an 86 song I didnt like. Like most of the song on the cd. Buy it in may of 2007. Great cd to have. on the cd your heroes are dead is a great one so many great songs on here the list goes on and on. My most favorite all project 86 album Truthless heroes. I Have all of them except the first one. This one is a hit. Buy it people. You will diffenitly like it.

This CD is amazing. Andrew Schwab goes the extra mile to produce one of their finest CD's to date. this is a must have CD for any Hard Rock/metal lover.
This nu-metal rap-core band continues to impress: heavy, brooding, and engaging. Here they half-and-half the hits, but there's probably more good than mediocre. This is akin to old-school P.O.D., minus their reggae influences. There is lots of variety here, both stylistically and tempo-wise. The guitarist uses more pedals and the distortion is ramped-up. Although the vocals aren't always decypherable, the lyrics are insightful and encouraging when discerned.
