I used to play paintball regularly and took a hiatus for a few years. I decided to get back into it and upgrade from my now outdated Impulse. I debated between the Mini and an Empire Axe. Ultimately I went with the Mini due to the cost and overall design. The gun does take a little breaking in to get to the level of consistency I expect out of my markers. An upgrade for the barrel is a must. Though the stock barrel is average, a simple upgrade to the Invert Nightstick will improve accuracy drastically. The stock board is nice with a few different options but changing between modes is difficult in games. I opted to upgrade the board to the Virtue OLED. GREAT UPRADE! When it comes to the ASA, I personally use a remote so I have not had any problems. Lastly, I know some players have had issues with the play in the trigger but I personally love the sensitivity. Overall I really enjoy the gun. It is light, easy to operate, very easy to tear down and put back together at the field, easy to upgrade, and very fast. I would recommend this gun to anyone looking for a midgrade electronic marker!Read full review
I have been a fan of the Invert Mini for over a year now. This was the first paintball marker I purchased when I began playing paintball regularly in July of 2010. The main features I had searched for were (a) Price point, (b) User & industry reviews, (C) No macro line to worry about, and (c) electronic control. The Mini fit perfectly with my requirements, and I was not disappointed by its performance. For the money, this marker can compete with more expensive markers rather well on an average day at the field; with some choice upgrades, the Mini can compete at the professional competitive level. I've since gifted my first Mini to my son, and have picked up more for myself and family. I would highly recommend this marker to anyone interested in playing paintball as a hobby, sport, or profession. As a competition entry-level marker, or a mid-range marker for the novice, you can't find anything close to the Mini for the standard features you get for the money. There are few moving parts to maintain compared to other markers, and regular maintenance is very easy and quick to do. If you have any questions about the Mini, please feel free to contact me. I can make several recommendations should you also wish to upgrade a Mini, with respect to barrels, bolts, hoppers, and control/sensor boards. Enjoy your shopping experience!Read full review
Very nice, well made marker, lots of higher end features for a mid priced marker. If you're looking to upgrade your marker you should give this one a serious look, whether you're rec balling or considering tournament play the GS mini is worth looking at.

I have been in the sport for ove 20 years and have owned or handled the vast majority of the markers out there. The Invert/Empire Mini is one of the best bang for the buck markers out there. Function is simple and easy. The board programs in a logical manner that anyone can grasp. The size (currently the smallest on the market) is absolutely awesome. It is to the current generation what the 68 automag was to mine. I prefer woods ball and the small silhouette, light weight and short length make it perfect for moving through trees or brush. The one con I have with it it the trigger system. While you can tweak the magnetic trigger to give you a very high rate of fire for semi, it is also dangerous. It takes next to nothing to set it off. As long as you stay aware of this you are good. I run a remote and either unplug the remote or turn the marker off when not actually in play. The new axe has a on off built into the regulator. If you only play with the tank on the gun then I would highly recommend that as a upgrade.Read full review
The Invert mini may be a gun so people start out with when they start playing, but it is also used in PSP, and NPPL.This gun is so manuevarble because there is no braided hoses or macroline to get in the way.It can keep up with any other gun on the market but at a cheaper price. The stock board is great if you have a V3.ASA with no macrolines equls lesser to no leaks what so ever.It also lives up to its name''The MINI'' because it is that,MINI.It is so light at just under 2 pounds with the barrel and battery on it wow!I upped mine to a virtue redefined board because I like the colors. Another good thing about the mini is the colors it comes in.There are about 15 different colorways it comes in.Even if you have V1 or V2 and afraid it may be a gimpy model, dont be.There is a whole array of upgrades for it that can turn it into a v3.Read full review
