Disk's in great condition, everything looks fine. Unfortunately the game itself obviously wasn't designed around ps2 hardware and is slower than World Tour loading wise, and both have notable stuttering for me during gameplay.

The game disc doesn't work consistently, you kind of have to futz with the disc a few times before it's readable. It works for now, just a little bummed it does that. It still works so I don't feel comfy giving it less than three stars, but also doesn't work well, so I can't give it 5.

Another great game for all guitar hero fans. I bought this game a couple weeks ago, which arrived in perfect condition, and I must say I enjoy it very much. Awesome track list, some new game features, overall a very fun game that I would definitely recommend to others. A few cons of this game would be that it doesn't include all the extras and features like those in other platforms such as the PS3. The party mode is a bit useless, in my opinion, since you can't jump in and out of songs like it's suppose to do. There also wasn't the music studio feature. Load times are somewhat slow, but nothing much. Other than that, I think this game was a job well done. If your a fan of guitar hero, then you should get this one.
Guitar Hero 5's track list contains 85 songs by 83 separate artists, and like previous Guitar Hero games, several musicians with works in the game have been modeled through motion capture for avatars in the game, including Johnny Cash, Carlos Santana, Shirley Manson, Kurt Cobain, and Matthew Bellamy. The game continues to support the user-created music studio introduced in World Tour through GHTunes, and additional downloadable content for the game will be made available. A majority of existing downloadable tracks from World Tour are forward-compatible with Guitar Hero 5, along with selected tracks from World Tour and Guitar Hero Smash Hits. The game was well-received by reviewers who appreciated the improvements in the accessibility of the game, allowing players to immediately jump in and play without spending excessive time in the game's menus. Improvements to both the Career and competitive multiplayer modes were also highlights of the game. However, the game's track list was considered to be too broad, that while players will likely find a number of songs they enjoyed, they would also likely enough find a number that they would not like, and some controversy arose over the inclusion of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain in the game.Read full review
A goofy game where you get to be Kurt Cobain...he'd probably hate it, but for Nirvana fans like my girlfriend, its one of those no-brainer games that can be fun...
