The Sony Cyber-shot DCR HX7V was as described. In excellent condition with all functions working. I was able to download the operating manual from Sony. I look forward to using the camera for both its still and movie capabilities once the weather improves.

Everything worked fine but the 3D would only work in panorama mode. Still 3D would not work. Sony could not explain why.

This camera takes very good pictures. It has a fast shutter and is good in low light. It is a little larger than most point and shoot cameras but can easily fit in a pocket or pouch. The video was disappointing. It looked great on the camera but when it is played on a computer it is distorted and not worth your time. The still photos were very good and that is what I wanted it for so it meets my needs.
Hi: Easy to use in auto. Good in low light. Quick recovery speed for next shot. Fun features. If you are more advanced, there are settings to play with for special effects. Sony is easy to get fixed overseas. Easy to get more batteries, Like that you can use memory cards or SD cards for versatility. Like the features are compatible 110/220. Wish it was waterproof? Or at least water-resistant? Had lots of Sony's in the past, and keep getting them in newer models.
This camera is a great machine if you need a compact camera that takes extremely good photos and has a good zoom and many features. There are soo many features with this camera that it can be used for almost any purpose. The smoothness of just how it all works is just great. The main point is when you are videoing, everything is just as smooth as smooth can be, zoom, movement, everything. Overall....EXCELLENT!!
