I love this teapot - it matches my set of dishes, a big plus for me, as I did not realize that the set HAD a teapot until recently! It is well balanced and pours without dripping. It retains the heat reasonably well, but would be better with a tea cosy on, of course - but then, you would not see the pattern of the china, so that would be a personal decision.
