This is a fairly nice economical laptop. Purchased as a replacement for a customer with a like model that was damaged. Seems to run well with the extra 2Gb of RAM I salvaged from the damaged unit the customer had. This machine should run very well with the 8Gb RAM that it can handle. Hopefully, you will never have to replace the CMOS battery on one of these. I know that the AMD version of this Compaq has the CMOS battery mounted in such a way that you have to dismissible the entire machine to change it.
Windows 7 is the best operating system that Microsoft has made!

GREAT LAPTOP FOR A REALLY REALLY LOW PRICE. I UPGRADE A 6GB RAM AND RUNS GREAT. THE ONLY ISSUE THAT DOESNT COME WITH HDMI PORT. NO PROBLEMS WITH GAMES I RUN FIFA PC AND THE GRAFICS ARE VERY GOOD. THIS WAS MY BUSINES OF THE YEAR FOR ME I HAVE A QUADCORE GATEWAY I SELL IT FOR $350 AND I BOUGHT THIS ONE FOR $150 SO I GET SOME MONEY EXTRA I KNOW THE OTHER ONE WAS QUADCORE AND 500GB HD BUT I NEVER USE ALL THE HARD DRIVE CAPACITY I HAVE MY OWN 1TB WESTERN DIGITAL BOOK ESSENTIAL.
