Just like a lot of people, I was a little annoyed with the new UI and got frustrated while getting used to the new Windows 8/8.1 (especially since Windows XP was my former favorite)LOL. But after a few days of toying around with it, I absolutely LOVE this computer! The sleek, lightweight design and the keyboard, soft and quiet are probably my favorite things about this specific laptop. Besides of course the large hard drive and 4gb of ram. This is the second gateway NE56R41U I've owned. I'm completely in love.
This computer is great for everyday usage. Its fast enough to play some casual games without any issues. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was the sound quality. Its on the low side but if your not using this to play music or watch movies its great. U can easily add external speakers to take care of that issue.
