I decided to give these lower compression golf balls a try. My swing speed has declined due to knee surgery and my distance had suffered. I found I picked up about ten to twenty yards off the tee with these balls and the control was amazing! The balls are nice and bright white and remain that way. The feel and sound off the driver is more subdued than the higher compression ball, but it didn't take long to get used to it. I love them and will keep playing them.

It's not Pro V1. It's not even Top Flite Gamer Tour. But it is a very good ball to play in summer or winter. It has a good feel and probably has more bite into the green than those cheap "rocks" you may be playing now. The trick is to get these at a good price. You do that, and you'll be happy. If not, put down the money ($45/dozen) to get happy.

When I was a kid my father played Wilson Staff which at the time (early sixties) was considered an top ball. I don't know what happened since then but I thought I would give the Elites and Zips a try for the chilly Maine air. After playing the Elites for a week, I will be playing it all season. It is soft, great distance, and amazing spin on the greens. Other makers compare on feel and distance, but usually fall short on spin, but the Elite has it all. I will trying the Zips this week.

A golf friend introduced me to the WS "Fifty". I hit the ball twice then I gave it back to him. I went home and ordered a dozen online. Since then I have purchased two dozen more. I am not a long hitter but this ball is sneaky long. Unless you hit cart paths often you will be playing the same exact ball day after day because it has a durable cover. The ball has a good feel off of the driver as well as the putter. One last thing you can buy this very good quality ball for about a third of the cost of the balls that the pro's use on TV and it will work for you just as well. Play smart, play the WS "fifty".
This is an outstanding golf ball for anyone with a slower swing speed (less than 80mph). Excellent carry distance, great feel off the clubface, very durable cover. I bought it to play as my "winter" ball here in the Mountain West, but have ended up using it year around. I can highly recommend it for the golfer looking for a very, very good ball at a reasonable price.
