The drill I replaced I used as a plumbing contractor for 30 years and for construction projects on my ranch after I retired - for a total of nearly 50 years before it finally needed to be replaced. This was probably the most rugged and dependable power tools I have ever owned. That's why I replaced it with the same brand and model as the original. A newer version though. And I wasn't afraid to buy it used since I knew how rugged it was.

I use it to mix mortar, it is light, geared low and the handle attachment gives comfortable and easy control over the high torque twisting when the mud gets thick. The cord is also heavy and long enough to keep the plug out of the work area. Some things about a products design doesn't need to change or be over styled. This is one of those products. Thanks.

Like I wrote before I only buy Milwaukee tools because they are American made!! They made to last and last a long time. I have d handle drills and Sawzall in services for the past 53 years. I have bought 41 d handle drills, and Sawzall in the past years I have been in business. My business started 1938 and I took over in 1972. This d handle drill will drill through wood, steel with no problems at all. It is easier to drill with drill that any other drill motor because it easier to grip the handles.

Great heavy duty drill....lots of torque and not too heavy. Really a good value for the money.
