This small compact phone offers a lot for its sizes. You can Dial people right from your address book. or set up three-way calls with the touch of a button. Offers Instant messages on your buddy lists on AIM, Windows Live Messenger, or Yahoo! I like the Google map feature: On the My Location feature, you can quickly see your approximate location on the map—without needing to enter a ZIP code or street name. Which is pretty cool when you are in a hurry. Only thing I don't like is the key board. Wish it was a little bigger. It does have a STYLUS that you can use that helps a bit. ( I give it a 4.5 rating due to the small keyboard) It has a awesome built in MP3 player which is pretty neat..With 64MB of storage, there's plenty of room for your play lists. With the Pocket Tunes Deluxe 7 you can listen to songs you download from places like Rhapsody or Yahoo! Cool! huh? This is a nice Smartphone with touch screen and full, small keyboard. It has some cool functions and the camera is not bad either. When my Blackberry died I was in desperate need for a phone fast. Since the BB was only a few months old and babied, but died anyway, I decided not to go that route. Instead I tried a Palm. I couldn't be happier! Should have bought a Palm from the start. Very simple to use, and does more than my Blackberry would. Plus, no extra fees to use a seperate service! The only issue I have is it's easy to bump the touchscreen with my cheekbone while talking, accidently muting the phone or putting people on hold. But it's a small thing for an excellent phone. You can set up TONS of favorite buttons to any application, service or website on the main screen, making it easy to get to anything you need at the touch of a button. Qwerty buttons are small, but they are on all phones. Touchscreen works great. Didn't think I'd like having to pull out a stylus everytime I used it, but it's second nature after only a couple of weeks, and many things are accessable with a finger, or the directional keys. My wife tried it and now she wants one too. When it's time to upgrade I will stick with a Palm, they definately design their phones with the user in mind.Read full review
I really like this phone! It's compact, but still allows me to do all I need to do. I have heard complaints in the past about the keys being smaller and closer together than on the palm treo, which I had prior to this one, but I was able to adjust pretty quickly. The screen is smaller but it's easy to get used to. The ringtone selection is much better than treo and the speaker volume is great. I don't like the fact that I can't download music directly to it. I have to download to a computer and then download to the phone. Which is just like my treo. I had been hoping with a new and improved model that maybe the music downloads would be different. And I hate that it resets at times. Other than that, I really like it a lot. It's small but great for document storage, web surfing, email/text and talk. It really gets the job done in a much more compact and stylish package but has all the features plus some of the palm treo.Read full review
The phone feels very comfortable in my hands. It's easy to use and gets good reception. Have had no dropped calls. Navigation is very easy also. It has a very responsive touch screen. However, it has a terrible web browser with no support for video except for YouTube. I have installed Opera Mini onto the phone, yet it also does not support any video. There doesn't seem to be any browsers out right now for this phone that do support web video. If web browsing is an important feature for you, you may want to look at other phones that support other browsers.
I will jump right in to it. The Centro has a small QWERTY keyboard(keypad) which is farely easy to type on for me. It has a good touchscreen, decent size and okay resolution. I however do not like the fact of how difficelt it is to get your email up and running, my device is for verizon and the wireless sync will simply not let me sync my email and i dont know if it is always like that or if i need to contact verizon to take care of the problem. The browser(blazer) is nice, it is fast and gets the job done. The operating system is just right, its fast, easy to utilize and is dynamic. The centro is lagging behind in the multimedia department though, it has only a 2.5mm headphone jack and i can not find a facebook app for it. Despite the shortcomings i will say it is a good device because it does what it says and it is a very straight forward easy device that is good for kids, adults, and buisness users.Read full review
