Followed all instructions during assembly but when I applied power in the water, the boat dove straight toward the bottom of the lake - after about half of the boat was submerged, it popped to the surface and ran normally. While the nose was submerged, water flooded all the electronics, even though I applied tape. I moved the motor forward and back to change balance and I moved the prop position up and down but nothing helped to prevent the diving. Either I bought a damaged boat or there is a serious design flaw that makes the boat useless. I have been advised to add foam to the front of the boat to prevent "diving", have not tried it yet but if that works, then there is a serious design flaw - the consumer should not have to figure out how to make the boat run properly, that's the designer responsibility. Based on my experience with this boat, I would advise against purchase, I couldn't make it work, I wasted over $200!!! Read full review

I have been trying to get this model to go and have been unsuccessful. Today an electronics technician had a look at it. The servo works, the motor works, we think the speed control unit is faulty. Do you have any other suggestions to rectify or what shall I do now?
