Surprisingly good sound considering the price. It gets loud but not floor shattering, consider it for bedroom not living room use. Rated it four stars because it produces clean but not deep base. Although I set it up with my 49" cheap 4k, I expect to really enjoy it with my cell phone music. Women vocalists sound amazing (Tina Turner, Karen Carpenter, Linda Ronstadt, etc.). Contemporary jazz too. You do however realize the limitations with base driven rock. Thus the four not five stars. For those without a bedroom stereo, it is overall a solid performer provided your room is not oversized. That said. The title chosen might not do it justice. For sixty bucks new, I don't see how you can do better.

I expected the quality of sound would have been better from a company POLK. The sound is not loud and the bass is fair. The first unit was defective a replacement was sent out.If I was using this as a blue tooth speaker for music it would have been sent back, for a TV fair.

I needed a sound bar in our bedroom TV. I am just used to having bose speakers that I have for our other 3 TV's. But did not want to spend any more for speakers, especially if just wanting to improve the sound quality of the TV speakers in the bedroom. I read the reviews on this Polk Audio and am thankful for the great reviews. This sound bar is more than enough. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great buy.
