These signal lights provide a mechanical switch that is driven by my Ross Track Switch. This was a more affordable method to drive my switch safety lights. The Atlas lights and switches are pretty nice but I could not find enough circuit boards or lights necessary. MTH does have a newer version of the 30-11038 dwarf signal, but many vendors do not provide enough information to know if they are the newer version (with the silver base) or not. This signal with its mechanical switch gave me simple way to wire my layout and include these lights. I would recommend this switch if you have Ross switches in your layout. Ross does have a connectable relay that can be integrated with the switch to drive the lights, but there were not enough available. The only supply I could find were heavily used relays. Thank you for stocking this product albeit, nearly 20 years old. My lights work well after getting them installed. Read full review
