My son says it is awesome and loves to play it. He says he uses it when he plays certain types of music as it sounds better!!! He has gotten lots of compliments on its looks and sound!

Great guitar, especially for the money. The stock pickups are noisy, even compared to other single-coils, but have a nice classic-strat sound. The neck of the guitar is a dream, even with the very glossy finish. Don't buy expecting American Standard quality, because it is not, but it is a very good guitar for a very good price.

This a great guitar. Great looks, sound, playability, and price. Out of the box, the setup was perfect to factory specs but the action was a tad bit higher than what I am used to on my other guitars, so with very minor adjustments I am now happy with the setup. I played and compared this to the lower end Squires as well as the Standard Stratocaster. The decision was easy. This CV60 played the sweetest compared to the others in my opinion. I am very happy with this guitar. It makes me want to play faster, more aggressively and more expressively than with my others. I already nicknamed it "My Bad Boy". Awesome.
The guitar is as expected but not better than expected. I'm not sure I like the humbucker upgrade in the bridge pickup position that the previous owner added. The pickup is very weak sounding.and I suspect it also needs some other upgrades (potentiometer) to bring it into specifications.Otherwise it is a nice playing instrument.

I owned strats from almost everywhere they’re made— American Standard, Standard MIM, reissue from Japan, MIK, Indonesia, India, & China. The CV 60’s reminds me of the American Standard and Japanese RI. It comes closest to these two more than any other version. I’d rank it 3rd after the USA, and tied for 2nd with Japanese strat. The quality and the pleasure I get from playing it supersedes the Mexico Standard.
