The doll stands are built sturdy and coated with plastic that protects the doll's body. However, the wire mechanism tends to slide down with the weight of antique or porcelain dolls so that the dolls do not stand tall. Some doctoring in needed to have the stands hold heavier or higher height dolls. The metal portion of the stand leans toward the center of the platform so that dolls do not actually stand on the platform but rather on the surface in the front of the stand. Manipulation the metal portion of the stand and wire slide is needed to have the doll stand erect without tipping. I drilled holes in the metal shaft and steadied the wire slide with washers and bolts at the height needed for the individual doll to assure no tipping and/or droopy knees. It is an okay doll stand if one is clever with jerry-rigging it to fit antique and/or heavier dolls. Vinyl and plastic dolls probably wouldn't need the adjustment.Read full review

These Kaiser stands are tried and true products, I use them for all my dolls and bears. The large sizes even work for my larger Himstedt dolls, which are heavy and need support to stand.

These Doll stands are the ones that you want to protect your 24" to 30" Dolls. There is a white Plastic/Paint Coating on the metal Wires that is really durable and protects your Doll's Bodies. I Highly Recommend these stands! Hannadolls
